THE ALBUM
Bringing together a who's who from the Broadway and pop music community, Aaron Lazar's debut solo album has been 20 years in the making. This project serves as a testament to resilience, passion, and love in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. It is a heartfelt homage to Broadway and a shining example of persistence and the strength of community.
Seven mega stars have already joined, including Tony® and Emmy® winning film star Neil Patrick Harris, Tony® winner Kelli O’Hara, Tony® nominee Kate Baldwin, Tony® Nominee Norm Lewis and the Grammy® winning National Children’s Chorus.
The album will culminate in an epic group performance of "The Impossible Dream" from "Man of La Mancha."
BACKGROUND
Two years ago, Aaron Lazar received a diagnosis of ALS. Despite this challenging news, he embraced healing and persistence, holding to this dream with every fiber of his being. Collaborating with colleague and lead producer Jonathan Estabrooks (Juilliard Alum, #2 Billboard Charting), Kitt Wakeley (Grammy® Winning Artist/Producer), Seth Rudetsky (3x Emmy® Nominee/A&R), Dave Reitzas (4x Grammy® winning engineer), and Emitha Studios, he embarked on a journey to bring together his friends and create this dream collaborative record.
